Our shrubs are crafted in the Grand Lodge Fermentation Chamber starting with the centuries-old Orleans method of vinegar making, using Edgefield wines and ales. Fresh fruits, herbs and simple syrup are added to create unique flavors, making these shrubs delicious in cocktails, mocktails, vinaigrettes and gastrique.
Note refrigerate upon arrival and store cold.
CHOCOLATE-CHERRY MALT SHRUB
When chocolate said hello to cherry an epic affair began, and their tryst continues in this chocolate-cherry malt alegar, our ale-based vinegar. A unique addition to cherry sours, try this shrub with McMenamins Billy Whiskey, or add to sparkling water to add a little thrill to the everyday. Chocolate Cherry Malt Shrub is a seasonal shrub starting in February.

In a tumbler combine:
1 Shot Hogshead Whiskey
¼ Shot Kirsch (or Maraska /Luxardo)
½ Shot Chocolate Cherry Shrub
6 dashes of McMenamins Aztec Chocolate Bitters
Shake and strain into a bucket glass with a large ice cubes
Garnish with an Amarena cherry on a pick
