Orders are processed, packed up and shipped out from Troutdale, Oregon by Tawni and her helpers.
Here’s what happens: You place an order, a cheer goes up around the world (but especially at McMenamins), you receive a confirmation email shortly after placing your order, your goods ship within 5 business days and when they do a shipping notice with tracking number is emailed to you (who knew email could be so fun?!).
With the exception of orders shipped via USPS, all orders require a street address as other shippers are unable to ship to P.O. boxes.
We ship via UPS, USPS and GLS (for orders with alcohol) and offer a variety of service levels from Ground to Next Day Air. Simply select the service level you'd like during checkout and we'll take care of the rest! Please keep in mind our Order Processing time when choosing shipping options, as it can take up to 3 business days to process before being picked up for shipping.
Estimated shipping times for USPS:
- First class: 3-4 days
- Priority: 1-2 days
Estimated shipping time for UPS Ground: 5 days*
*During the holiday season, UPS Ground does not adhere to 5-day shipping, only 3-day select and higher shipping.
Estimated shipping time for GLS within Oregon: 1-2 days
- Pick-up day by shipping services does not count towards your shipping time.
- We cannot be responsible for shipping delays due to acts of nature.
Oregon Liquor Control Commission permits us to ship within the state of Oregon within these limitations:
- Up to 6 bottle of spirits (no more than 2 of the same)
- Up to 40 cans or bottles of beer
- Up to 18 cans of cider
- One order per customer per day (if we receive more than one order in a day going to the same address, we will have to hold the order until the next business day)
- Alcohol will be shipped with GLS, a licensed OLCC carrier. Adult signature of a person 21 and over is required upon receipt. We recommend shipping to an address where someone 21 or older will be present to sign for the delivery. Carriers cannot deliver to PO boxes; a physical street address is required. Packages will be returned after three delivery attempts, and shipping will not be refunded.
Sales receipts or packing slips are required for any return. We'll credit or refund the value of the merchandise back to the original form of payment. Unfortunately, we cannot refund shipping and handling fees unless we sent the incorrect item or it arrived damaged. If you cancel your order after the item has been shipped, shipping and handling costs will not be refunded. Please allow a minimum of 10 days for us to receive and process your return. Adjustments to credit cards should appear within two billing cycles.
For returns or exchanges by mail:
- Enclose the sale receipt or packing list that came with your order.
- If it is an exchange, enclose a note or letter in your package containing the following information:

For in-store returns or exchanges at any of our McMenamins Gift Shops: Edgefield, Grand Lodge, Kennedy School, Hotel Oregon, Olympic Club, Old St. Francis School, Chapel Pub, Crystal Hotel, Gearhart Hotel, Anderson School, Kalama Harbor Lodge and Elks Temple.
Just bring in your items, sale receipt or packing list that came with your order and shop the store for new ones! Or we'll refund the value of the merchandise back to the original form of payment (excluding delivery and handling charges, unless we sent the wrong item or it arrived damaged). If you don't have your sale receipt or packing list that came with your order we will exchange the items you are returning at their current value. Please Note: some items purchased online are not sold in all of our Hotel Gift Shops.
