2010 Ice Block Pinot Gris
4 days of sub freezing temperatures culminated a gamble on an early winter arriving in the Columbia Gorge and Edgefield's first naturally produced ice wine. Made from Pinot Gris from Paul Huber's Dampier vineyard, which sits above White Salmon, WA with views up and down the gorge and across to Hood River. The grapes were picked November 24th with temperatures around the near perfect 20°f and trucked to Edgefield where temps were 35° to 40°.
1994 LBV Fireside Zinfandel
Celebrate the release of our first LBV style Port! Made with grapes sourced from the 100-year-old vines of "The Pines" Vineyard in the Columbia River Gorge, this port is truly an exemplary wine. Rich and concentrated, tawny in style, it exhibits aromas of dried figs, raisins and prunes, with hints of caramel, spice and nuts.
2004 Fireside Syrah Port
In the traditionof the Port houses of Portugal, Edgefield Winery has been releasing vintage
dated ports for well over a decade. Where the Portuguese utilize their
indigenous grape varieties to produce their famous dessert wines, we have
chosen to use one of our favorite local grape varieties: Syrah. This Winery
Tasting Room favorite is a great way to experience this signature Northwest grape
in a new way.
