Our 2007 Cuveé De L'Abri Rouge is a blend of fruit from Oregon's Del Rio Vineyard. With aromas of bing cherries, cedar, cola and vanilla it is a perfect sipper with medium acidity and low tannin. It is a great alternative for those lovers of Pinot Noir. Foods that best showcase the Cuveé are pastas with red sauces, burgers, ribs, sandwiches, soups and even a bowl of hearty chili!

The Edgefield Winery is located at the mouth of the Columbia River Gorge at McMenamins Edgefield on the site of the historic 1911 Multnomah County Poor Farm.  The soft structure of our "blend of the Red Shed" reflects the unique character of the Southern Rhone Valley varietals from which it is blended.  This year's blend is composed of 50% Grenache, 48% Syrah and 2% Viognier.
