2009 Pinot Noir
Willamette Valley and Umpqua Valley, Oregon
- Product Story
The 2009 Pinot Noir is light garnet in color with fruity aromas of fresh raspberries, cherry and strawberry, complemented by notes of rose petal, clove, cedar, barrel toast and vanilla. The palate is bright and juicy, with cherry and raspberry fruit, cedar and white chocolate. It is light in body, with moderate tannins and acidity. The 2009 vintage in Oregon benefitted from a long growing season with near ideal growing conditions. Grapes received the depth of flavor expected in a vintage with a lot of hang time without accumulating excessive sugar or depleted acids.
