Pale pink in color, the 2009 Pinot Noir Blanc has ample fruit aromas of strawberries, tangerine and watermelon rind, as well as hints of fresh flowers. On the palate, the flavors mirror the aromas on the nose. The 2.6% residual sugar gives it a slight hint of sweetness, while the acid helps the wine finish clean, light and refreshing.

The Edgefield Winery is located at the mouth of the Columbia River Gorge at McMenamins Edgefield on the site of the historic Multnomah County Poor Farm (ca. 1911). This semi-sweet blush is made by lightly pressing Pinot Noir grapes to gently extract a vibrant peach color from the skins. It is light and refreshing on the palate with generous grapefruit and strawberry flavors.
