Pale straw in color, the 2007 Vintage Select Chardonnay has bright fruit aromas of pineapple, pear and candied lemon peel. Dry to the taste it is medium bodied with a slightly creamy texture that adds to its complexity.

The Edgefield Winery is located at the mouth of the Columbia River Gorge at McMenamins Edgefield, former site of the historic Multnomah County Poor Farm (ca. 1911). Chardonnay grapes grown in the warmer Rogue Valley provide rich flavors and aromatics of pineapple, pear and citrus fruit. Fermentation, aging and frequent stirring of the lees in new and old French oak barrels help to build the wine’s flavor and texture.
