The 2008 Poor Farm Pinot Gris is a reserved white wine with aromas and flavors of fresh Asian pear, lime zest and almonds float on a long creamy finish. It is light bodied and dry with light acidity that would compliment many foods, but doesn't require food to be enjoyed.

The label depicts the Poor Farm Vineyard itself, the Manor, and Sharon Nesbit, who has, as the back label explains, worked tirelessly to preserve the history of Troutdale and Edgefield. Sharon was instrumental in saving Edgefield from the wrecking ball simply by making others take notice of the historical significance of our now grand property.
