Dark ruby in color, this wine has pronounced fruit aromas of ripe marionberries, blackberry jam as well as hints of butter, vanilla and spice. It’s higher tannin and lower acidity make it a great wine to pair with rich meat dishes, such as lamb and beef stews.

The Edgefield Winery is located at the mouth of the Columbia River Gorge at historic McMenamins Edgefield, site of the former Multnomah County Poor Farm (ca. 1911).

Fruit for this Zinfandel was sourced from the McKinley Springs Vineyard, located on the far eastern edge of the Columbia Gorge and the Pines Vineyard, located outside the Dalles, Oregon.
